What is PENNYMAC MOBILE Messaging?

PENNYMAC MOBILE Messages are SMS messages sent to those who have opted-in to receive text messages from Pennymac, and will help you manage the servicing of your account including: payment reminders, important account information, etc.

How do I sign up for PENNYMAC MOBILE Messages?

Log in to your account and manage your notification preferences by visiting Account Settings —> Message Center Notification.

Is it free?

PENNYMAC MOBILE Messages is a complimentary service provided by Pennymac. Depending on your messaging plan and carrier, message and data rates may apply.

How do I stop receiving messages?

To opt out of receiving text messages, you can reply with the word “STOP” or visit your Account Settings —> Message Center Notifications.

I opted out, now I want back in. How do I do that?

You can start receiving messages from Pennymac again by signing up for notifications in your account settings of your online account.

Commands:

JOIN:

Texting JOIN to 32024 to receive instructions where to manage your text preferences online.

PNMAC: To easily update your phone number or manage your preferences, log in at PENNYMAC.COM or download PENNYMAC MOBILE.

STOP:

Texting STOP at any time to 32024 will prevent you from receiving any future Loan Servicing PENNYMAC MOBILE Messages from Pennymac.

You have been unsubscribed from Loan Servicing text notifications from Pennymac. To easily manage your text preferences, log in at PENNYMAC.COM, download PENNYMAC MOBILE or reply with Opt-In to resume text notifications.

HELP:

Texting HELP at any time to 32024 will return a message such as the following:

Does my mobile carrier participate?

PENNYMAC MOBILE Messaging works with all major U.S. carriers, including: AT&T, T-Mobile®, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Alltel, U.S. Cellular, Cellular One, MetroPCS, InterOp, Cellular Com, C Spire Wireless, Cricket, Virgin Mobile.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile® is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How are messages sent?

We may use autodialer or non-autodialer technology to send the text messages described above to the mobile phone number provided when you opt in.

Additional Terms

By providing your mobile number and consent you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions provided in this policy and fully and unconditionally authorize Pennymac and its service providers to respond to your mobile device or cell phone, even if your telephone number is listed on any federal, state or corporate do-not-call registry.

Pennymac disclaims any and all responsibility, including responsibility based on negligence or negligent misstatement, for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of data or information contained in or furnished through PENNYMAC MOBILE Messages and makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to such data or information.

Do not use PENNYMAC MOBILE Messages to communicate with us. Please log in to your account where you can send us a secure message. For urgent matters you can contact our Customer Service department.

Pennymac reserves the right to block any mobile telephone number it deems inappropriate and to disable PENNYMAC MOBILE Messages without notice.

By using this service, you agree that the terms stated herein shall apply to you and are incorporated by reference into any communication, and that any disputes pertaining to this service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of your use of PENNYMAC MOBILE Messages or relating to these terms and conditions may only be filed only in the state or federal courts located in California. Consent to these terms is not required as a condition to purchase a good/service.
